I took the loader off my B2301 today, then reinstalled for the first time. The process was way easier than I anticipated. I only had one issue when reinstalling. The boom lift hose was not clicked in completely. It was locked in, but had no flow (the bucket would not raise). I quickly discovered this, and the rest was easy. This is my first tractor with a loader.

Glad to hear this went well for you. I look forward to the same easy on off. I figure that changing most implements will be easier if I had a hard flat area to do it on ...

Take mine on and off all the time, it only gets easier. One hiccup I had was that when I left my FEL in the sun for a number of days the pressure built up in the lines and I had a hard time getting the lines to attach back to the tractor. I used a pin and a hammer on the inside of the lines to relieve the pressure, yes it will squirt out all over you if your not careful. Probably a better way to do I would be to get a couple wrenches and loosen up the connection where the coupler and the line come together. One other tip that someone on here pointed out to me was that you need to make sure and run the joystick or FEL control deal thru all the motions once you have it pulled away from the tractor while the tractor is off but the lines are still hooked up, this will take away some the pressure all ready built up in the lines.

If the line just has a little pressure in it, like from solar heating on the hoses, just take a shop rag, cover the fitting, and take a 3/8 or so bolt, and a hammer and tap her till she squirts a little into the rag. The rag will protect you from a direct spray, which can penetrate the skin and cause an oil embolism...:D:D
