Hi, new here, never owned a Kubota compact tractor before and have just managed to get my hands on a B1610, it’s been sat for a number of years in a field, we had to use a crane lorry to collect it as doesn’t roll, hooked up a new battery to see if it would start and it turns very very slowly, removed the starter and checked the engine turns freely which it does, replaced starter and still have the same issue, could there be something “holding” back the engine from spinning like a hydraulic circuit or transmission? Any help would be great. Thank you all.

When you replaced the battery I hope you cleaned the cable connectors, too. Tighten securely. Follow ground wire to frame connection. Clean and tighten there. If it still won't spin the engine at a normal speed have the starter checked out in a shop. It could have problems.
