I was using my B 3030 today and it started up fine. I shut it off and it would not turn over. When you turn the key on all dash lights light the glow plug comes on when you turn the key the starter will not turn. I checked the neutral safety switch on the pedal and it is working. The black and white wire on the solenoid is not getting juice when you turn the key, I can jump-start it by using a screw driver and touching it to the hot post and the plug on the solenoid. I check all fuses they are good. I'm pretty sure the PTO switch is good but haven't really checked, it is a PITA to get to. What else besides the actual ignition switch could be the problem. Getting to it looks like it will be a hard job. I haven't checked it yet. Any help is apprecieated.

If the rocker pedal is centered(try rocking it)and the PTO is not engaged, the tractor should crank.
As you know, you do not have to be in the seat to crank the engine.
Otherwise,I would have to suspect the OPC(Operator Presence Controller).
Remember to keep the travel pedal well lubricated!
Good Luck!

You must satisfy all the safety interlocks for the unit to crank. Your user manual should identify them. On my L series of course there are the seat and PTO switches. The HST pedal must be in a neutral position and my clutch must be depressed. There may also be a neutral switch though my tractor doesn't seem to have one. Your starter switch COULD have failed but there are many other things to check.
