John T - so sorry for your loss.

2022 started off bad. We lost Ollie New Year’s Day.

Now we’ve got Geddy to keep us on our toes.

The brown dog (Pit Aussie) belongs to my daughter & the tan dog (mongrel), my son. They are about the same age & play together (& with me) frequently. Looks like a left jab being delivered.

I have come across, and borrowed 😀 a bunch of dog photos and sayings, dedicated to service dogs in the military and law enforcement. These dogs are very special to me as I was involved in a Canine team before retirement. I will post a few pictures each day until I run out. In remembrance of service dogs, their handlers, both present and past. Hope everyone enjoys..

Seeing that picture reminds me of the other day, Max loves to go for rides and he gets very excited. Well, he bolted from the gate and before we could get the door open, he decided he would just take the window. Well, that would of been all well and good, if the window had been opened. He smacked the window and down he went. He jumped back up and looked at us wondering what had just happened. Open the the door and he jumped right in.

Mine is with me right now right now standing guard while I have a cigar and sip 🥃 on the back porch watching it rain (almost 2” today in Ne Ohio). Little fella is inside. He is growing like a weed.

I had a German Shepard that was a flunk out of the DEA. Great guard dog, just never turn your back on him, because he would put you down. The first time he did it to me, I was stumped because he wouldn't let me up. Then I rolled over on my back, looked him straight in the eye, and said "good dog, sit". He sat and I was able to get up and hooked the chain to his collar and back away. I tried him a year later after having to feed this all this time, and he still would put me down if I turned my back on him. Unfortunately, his hips gave out and I couldn't let him suffer. His name was Odie.

Was warm, so pellet stove/ “Dragon” was shut off.

We’re using “Junior Dragon” for a few days. Simple milk house heater as I knew them. Modern safety features in this one.

Geddy just came in from outside and obviously figured it was supposed to be running.

Seems to be saying “I’m bigger than you now, punk….”

Shortly thereafter, Jr. Dragon was on its side…
