Anyone use a dump trailer to haul a b2320 backhoe loader or similar size compact backhoe? If so what size are you using?

I do not have a backhoe but I did transport my B7610 with a tiller/ snowblower / backblade with a 5x10 dump trailer. I built a frame to holdup the loader to protect the tarp roller. The ramps set into a channel welded onto the back of the trailer. I added tie down loops from Harbor Freight at four points to hold it down with axle straps from the race car. No problems and used it many times.

ONE CAUTION, THE SLOW MOVING VEHICLE SIGN BLEW OFF THE FIRST TRIP, AND ALWAYS REMOVE THE KEY, I HAVE LOST THEM ON OTHER MOWERS DURING TRANSPORT.

I used to haul my BX25DLB in a 16 ft PJ dump trailer with the FEL and backhoe attached. I sold the BX but still have the trailer. I have a photo in the trailer thread.

I would LOVE to be able to haul my M4700DT in my 10K Dump trailer. Unfortunately the M4700 is 1-inch too wide. (tie down rings are welded into the floor at all 4 corners of the dump trailer and self-contained ramps are also stored beneath the floor.… Dang.…. I have to own an entirely separate trailer to haul the tractor. (4 trailers and none of them will do the job of all 4)

hay OC, can you post the section that says 'illegal' for me...I'd like to know why, as a 'dump trialer' is just a tilting 'car hauler' with sides on it. Then again, I can't even fiind the HTA laws for 'utility trailer safeties'.

I bought a 22 ft MidSota 15k utility trailer for much the same reason i.e. my MX wouldn't fit in the PJ dump trailer. I like trailers and currently have four as well, or 3-1/2 to be honest. The 1/2 is a project trailer that I salvaged from an old camper.

No pics, but I have hauled my B7100 with FEL & BH in my 10' x 6' dump trailer.
Tail first, FEL Bucket set on a folded piece of carpet on the tailgate.
Both buckets strapped down, 4 point chains & load binders on the tractor.
