I have a 4 acres property that I want to maintain. I wanna be able to rake debris like shown in pictures

I'm thinking I could use a rake like a LR1660. I need a few advices:
Would it be overkill to own this? Is it the kind of thing I'm gonna do once and won't need the implement anymore? Or would constantly need to use it?

I'm thinking of just fabricating my ont rake with leftover angle-bars and rebars. That would be the cheapest option.

I also have an option of borrowing my in-laws blade. That's free, but maybe not the best tool for that job?

I have a 60" rake from Rural King. It does a lot better job of cleaning up loose stuff than I would have thought. I don't use it very often, but when I do it's really handy. No more than you can lose selling it down the road, I think a rake is worth owning.

Before I bought a new one, I would look on facebook marketplace. I bought mine like new for $450 and locally there are several for sale in the $600-$800 range now.

I have a generic equivalent of the rake you mentioned. Bought many years ago from somewhere. It works quite well on gravel and would work quite well in the pictures you show.

Works great for spreading, leveling dirt or gravel. But that rake is a little rough on the grass if you'd be trying to collect leaves with it in the future. All in all, its a handy implement to have at your disposal....especially after a heavy windstorm with lots of branches and debris blown down off the trees.

I forgot to say I also own a box blade. I can use it as a rake but it's not great. I'd rather rake first, and then do a pass with the box to smooth everything after.

A landscape rake will work there. It will fill up pretty quick and stuff gets stuck between the tines so you have to push it out with your foot. They also work pretty good for smoothing out dirt and gravel.

In this photo I had every other tine removed but I put them all back in and left it that way. I didn't like the look it left in dirt with every other tine out.
