Hello I am new here , and new to Remote Hydraulics .

This may be a simple problem , U tell me ?

I have 2 Kubota M9540's

1 was purchased New in 2011 (12 speed Shuttle shift)
2 is 2008 Purchased this year with 180Hrs (8 speed Shuttle shift)

Both have 2 sets of remotes

Tractor 1 , when lowering implements will allow me to use the Down
lever , pushed in the lock position and will STOP as soon as I release it.
Tractor 2 , when lowering implements will STOP immediately as soon as I push
the down lever to the Lock position, If I never push it all the way to lock
then it will continue down until i release it (Just like #1)

This is aggravating since U have to remember which tractor U are in, otherwise U could lift , turn around and lower the implement and then turn around just to see it is still a foot off the ground.

So my question is,
is there a adjustment some place which could be causing the 2 tractors remotes to act different ????

I'm sure someone will speak up, give it time.
I can't help, can't afford one of those tractors, let alone two.

Kubota has some strainge ways when it comes to their remotes. I think it's normal to have one that's self cancelling and the other has a float position.

Your problem doesn't make sense to me. I can't understand why the implement stops when you lock the remote on tractor #2. What kind of implement are you using when it does this or does it do it with everything? Can you give some more details about what's going on. I may just have misunderstood what you were explaining.

My M9540 has remotes that when the lever is in the down locked position will continue to lower until the implement is fully lowered or until there is sufficient hydraulic back-pressure to automatically release the lever. I looked in my owner/operator manual and found that they have two different Remote Control Valves available for the M9540.
1. Double acting valve with detents and self cancelling - returns to neutral by back pressure
2. Double acting valve with float position - all the way forward cylinder is free to extend or retract
