My 7510 has 1500 hours and not the best maintenance schedule but she gets fluids and filters changed, while brush hogging she got a little hot, she didn't overheat but almost. let her cool down and she was running funny and pushing black smoke so we changed the injectors and still black smoke and then she started to runaway had to pull fuel filter and starve air. So now I'm at the injector pump, is there a way for testing it? thanks for any help

Had an injection pump stuck full throttle was able to fill with carb cleaner and work the throttle linkage while tapping on the pump- drained and refilled with 50/50 diesel and diesel 911- pump was froze from sitting though so not exactly same situatuation.
what worked for me

I’m betting you’ve done this / know this, but always check the grill and screen. Every time mine over heats it’s plugged up with a grass head that sticks in those holes.

Check to see how much oil is in the engine crankcase

If it is over full it may have been feeding into the cylinders and adding fuel into the cylinder
