My friend with a B7100 HST wanted to switch to a front mounted blower from the 3 pt hitch one because of mobility problems.
Torch was a big help with photos of his front mount B7100 hardware.
What happened was that, although the hardware part numbers could be found and even ordered, Kubota had reassigned the part numbers to parts that had nothing to do with blowers. There were no parts available.
Unless you find a B7100 with a blower already installed on the front, best to resort to a rear 3 pt unit.
Some B7100's have a mid pto to power a front blower. Older units have a belt, clutch drive off the front of the engine.
Thanks guys for the reply. I have a 1993 that is low hours to with the front mount factory snowblower. I noticed the different style on my other B7100 which is newer on You tube.. Very confusing on what actually works. Thanks again..
I have a 1997 B7100hst with midpoint pto.
I purchased it used in about 2009 without a snowblower. After searching for a few months I found a used blower and most of the under carriage parts.
All the dealer was able to tell me was that he "thought" it had come off of a B7300
I drove the 100 miles to the dealer with my utility trailer and tape measure.
The under carriage bolted up to the front of the B7100 frame although the bearing carrier for the pto shafts had to be unbolted and moved, but was able to use the same bolts and holes.
The back of the carriage where it would bolt to the midway of the B7100 frame was missing the brackets, which I fabricated.
The pto shafts that were included with the sale were the correct length.
I am including a few pictures including Kubota's mount number located on the side of the under carriage where it bolts to the blower body.
If I can help with dimensions or better pictures I will be happy to.
