I Will be sure and Post a Pic when i pick up the tractor.
I Didn't know it was not a Normal Setup for 1989 Front Kubota Blower of 72"
That Electric Motor has to have some Torque in it, thats for sure.
(After the Motor Transfers Energy to the Rubber Drive Belt, a shaft connects to a series of chain driven sprockets, which i presume lower the speed and create torque, and the end of the last chain setup, power is sent to the snowblower via a reagular looking PTO hook up. The Rubber Drive Belt and Chains are on either side of this Drive unit, with the electric motor sandwiched in the middle, They are seperate so chain oil cannot get onto the Rubber Drive Belts.)
If Anyone Has or Has seen a Set Up looking like the Tractor above Please Post.
I Guess i am having a Hard Time Believing what i saw ... LOL
Cuz .. i thought for sure myself it was engine powered PTO, until the guy lifted the Shroud in Front and Showed me the Electric Motor, and its not that Big a Motor either.
I am a NewBee, So i was Hoping Service Dept. Vic has seen or heard of this setup.
Aparently it Works Really Good too....
I was also wondering if Kubota Once made a 72" Front Blower this way, Why did they Stop? Pehaps it was the Only way at that time (1989) to Get a 72: Front Blower attatched?
