Which Gray Paint?

Is the exact color something that could be determined by use of serial number?

I cannot help specifically with the gray paint, but I was told recently that orange paint color changed in 1993, Went from Kubota orange 1 to #2. Maybe dealer parts man can answer with certainty.

What do you want to paint, are you sure its Grey? / Not Blue? ................

If you want a dead-match, go to your Kubota dealer and get the proper color- my dealer carries it, and the price isn't too bad.

If you want close, Rustoleum makes a dark gray gloss paint in aerosol cans that matches pretty well. Locally, the only place that I have found who carries it is Home Depot.

Messicks has a nice paint chart on their webpage with OEM part #s and the various sizes available. My tractor has one gray for the chassis and a different gray for the ROPS...
