I am installing my Third Function Valve kit for my new Grapple and I need to replace the knob on the FEL control stick with the new knob (with has the two buttons to control the Grapple). This is a BX2370 with LA234 FEL.

How does the knob come off - is it threaded on or is a press/push fit?

on my BX24, it's just push on...
I shortened my stick by a couple inches 'cause I was always catching my clothes on it when getting on/off the tractor on that side.
mind you, I'm 6ft 4in with long arms, so the shorter stick is fine with me.

Thanks for the quick reply. I thought about cutting a couple of inches off the height too. The new control knob is about two inches taller than what it replaces.

Did you remove the control stick (take to vise) or just cut it place? If you cut it in place, what did you use (a "hand hacksaw' doesn't seem likely/easy).

Just twist & pull it is a friction fit on a smooth shaft.
