You might want to post in a different forum subsection to get more hits. Having it posted in the "Tires and Wheels" subsection is not ideal for a lighting question.

If it’s nighttime and you need headlights... perhaps you might need light to see the flasher switch..(?) Perhaps that’s why Kubota lights the switch for you...(?)

According to the B3350 operators manual yes it is normal. The following is from a note in the manual:
The indicator in the hazard light switch will light up when the head light switch is turned on.

Interesting.

I just checked my 2018 B3350, and it has no lamp in the hazard button so it does not light headlights, hazard lamps or otherwise.

More interesting: My L6060 and M9960 both have lamps in the hazard buttons that do illuminate when the hazard lamps are turned on. The hazard indicator in my L6060 illuminates when the headlamps are turned on but that in my M9960 does not.

Edit: I routinely drive beneath and near trees so all of my tractors are ROPS models. Perhaps cab tractors are different.

completely normal - just as in a vehicle. When you turn lights on, other switches and buttons light up so you can see them. The reasoning being, quite obviously, that if its dark and you need lights, that you need to also see your HUD and other switches and buttons.

Not all Kubota tractors illuminate the flasher button, so it is a good question. My B2920 did, and my L4060 does. But my MX4800 and L2501 did not have an illuminated flasher switch.

On the other tack, both my M9000's hazard switch illuminates with the head / dash lights, open station and cabin units.

Good thing. Kubota OEM headlights basically suck.

They vary in quality. Not sure what your M9000s use, but a Grand L has 55w/60w halogens, same as a modern automobile, with low and high beam. I find them to be pretty decent...biggest hindrance is the loader always getting in the way. They also include "side lamps" in separate housings which push light 45 degrees to the left and right when switched on. Finally there are the usual two worklights on the front and rear...which are a big letdown at only 35w. I replaced my front ones with high-intensity discharge bulbs and ballasts in the stock housing...makes a big difference.

Although we have different M models I believe we have the same 55 watt incandescent headlamps. Flip mentions the same problem I found... the loader blocks the headlights and the flash-back from the bucket or forks is really bad.

I added a LED light-bar to the top of my grill and it totally solved the problem! Wow!... the amount of light and the range/distance is wonderful! (Tractor Supply brand is what I used and put a rocker-switch on the panel.)

( Used J-bolts to mount them on angle welded to a piece of 1-inch square tubing.)
