Hey folks! I signed docs today for a used L5030 GST trans tractor today, and figured I'd join up. It's not sitting in my driveway yet, but I figured I'd post here and get some feedback.

-Price 18,900
-Three remotes
-Third function on the FEL
-2200 hours
-R4's
-45 PTO HP
-A new Woods brand 72" bucket on the way (original owner modified his bucket and wanted to keep it)
-Canopy
-Completely rebuilt front axle by my local Kubota dealer
-All the bells and whistles of a Grand L.

I traded my Ford 1715 4x4 FEL and David Brown 780, and felt they made me a good deal on it. Anyone know if these have tractors have known wear items, or issues?

I'm stoked to have independent PTO, GST trans, remotes, third function, and canopy! These are huge upgrades for me. I've been using the Ford 1715 for chores around our property, and the David Brown for haying. Now I'm actually looking forward to haying the next 14 acres for the year! Maybe I'll look into a bale grapple and accumulator..

Regards,

Chris

Congrats on your purchase, we like orange and pics.

My 2 year old told a local farmer who was planting cotton in field next to our house that she liked orange tractors and not green ones couple weeks ago.

Thanks guys! I used it today to do some brush hogging... what a nice machine! After being use to non synchronized gear shift tractors, and live vs independent PTO, what a difference. The loader moves smooth, the power is right there, I really can't say enough good things about this tractor. I'll have a youtube video up shortly. There's a lot of me just jabbering, but there is a little bush hogging in there too. I'll post it later if you guys are interested.

The L530 sure is a nice little tractor.

Get in touch with MountainViewRanch and get a hydraulic toplink. I got my first one on my L5030 and now have one on each tractor with rear remotes, even have TnT on my L5740HSTC.
