Some times it's a noise from somewhere else. My L3000 had a rattle sound and I would have bet it was coming from the left side of the engine. Turns out it was the legs you use on the rear of the loader when it's removed. Wrapped a bungee cord around them and the noise went away. My M9000 had a rattle sounded like it was coming from the tranny/rear end of the tractor, it's the drawbar. Like to have drove me crazy till I figured it out.

Yes, they are a little noisy. I did not really care for the idea of using a big 4 cylinder engine in those tractors; I'd have liked to seen a 5 cylinder or even a small 6.

Haven't looked at the big M's yet to see what powers them. I'd hope something other than a huge 4 cylinder (175 hp I think they are?)

Looking forward to a demo on the M7 even though I see the tank with the blue cap on it
