can someone please inform me what is included in a complete crankcase...?
is this a basic "short block", a block with crank and pistons only, or JUST the block...?
I hate when there is no discription of what is included.

I am looking at coleman eq. 001 CRANKCASE, COMP
part number 15341-01013
for my L245DT.

I'm looking to replace the engine, just for the block, my old engine runs (ran) fine when i parked it... just looking to put it back together RIGHT, not just "patch it up".
My front assembly points on the block were mostly stripped out, I dont have the propper front assembly or oil pan (so I'm getting those as well).

I'm just trying to find out WHAT is included with the "complete crankcase".

Thank you....

Exactly what you get is a cast metal case that holds the cranking components, or in other words, a bare engine block.
Thanks Vic.
Thats what I was expecting, but couldnt find it....

Well, I AM getting the correct front assembly and the correct oil pan, that will give me 4 extra supporting bolts across the bottom front, and maybe weld up one extra support for a chipped tab on the block.....
That will get me going as long as the motor holds up...!!!

I cant believe someone had the pressed tin oil pan, and a half @$$ fabb'd up front assembly on a 4x4 with a FEL.....
