The flange bearing needs to be replaced on my TG1860G HST. It's part 235 in the diagram. It is pressed in there very well. Any ideas on how to remove it, and put a new one back? The flange broke off with the bearing portion left inside the axle tube (so the axle is still properly supported on the inside).
If I can't get it out, I'm contemplating putting a very thick washer in it's place with a cut oiling channel just like the original. Other than providing a wear surface, I can't see the benefit of the flange over a washer (washers are also a lot cheaper).
