I cannot get my 3 point hitch to raise on my L2500! Looking at the owner***8217;s manual I see the lower ing speed adjustment knob. Could there be an issue with this valve causing me problems or is it some thing more serious? The loader functions perfectly. Thanks ***128591;

Did it stop working all of the sudden or did it stop working gradually?

Make sure the roll pin at the bottom of the position control handle is still there. Of it is, look at the feedback rod on the left side and make sure that it is still attached. It will be attached at the three point output on the left under the seat.

The roll pin on the lever side is intact and I can watch the 2 nuts next to the lever rotate. The other end of the rod with the linkage attached via item 120 in the parts break down does not move when the lever is moved. If I pick up the lower 3 point arms the linkage moves but not the lever.

The only other thing I can think of is if you can hear fluid flowing when trying to lift the three point. If so, then I think you would be looking at a failed seal on the lift piston. Hopefully someone else can chime in with some ideas. Keep us posted with what you find.

Suction screen plugged up?
Would his loader still work if that was the case? That and he said it stopped suddenly which would make me think something broke or came disconnected. Pulling the screen is easy enough though. Left side of tractor, couple of bolts, but try to jack the rear of the tractor up so you don't lose as much fluid and carefully remove it and make sure that it is clean. I use brake parts cleaner and compressed air but I am careful not to destroy it. Reinstall is just reverse of removing it.

Stock loader?
And how about some pictures of the feed line connections from the tractor to the loader. ;)

Stock loader and the lines are in great shape. Pulled the seat and top plate. Had some help and they found a pice of metal blocking the valve to the lift cylinder.

Sounds like a relatively easy fix then. That's good to hear. Hopefully the metal was not from something important and was just flash from manufacturing that finally found a home in an inappropriate spot.
