I am looking at buying a B9200 HST from my neighbor. He said he was pulling a pretty heavy load behind it and it started leaking hydraulic fluid out of it . He said it quit pulling after that, he said he thought it was some type of pop off that needed rebuilding. It is showing 106 hours any ideas.

Where is it leaking hydraulic fluid from? It's not normal to leak fluid under any circumstance.

The tractor is likely 30 years old or older. 100 hours is only 3 hours a year, so I'm guessing the hour meter is either broken or it's rolled over.

If you want a quality answer, you need to supply quality information.

Yes like 200MPH said, "It's not normal to leak fluid under any circumstance."

There is no POP off valve that can leak like that.

If you buy it be aware that it could have HST issues that are very expensive to repair, or it could just have a simple seal or line leak that would be cheap and easy to repair, no way for us to know.

Simple answer: Have a qualified technician or dealer do a pre-buy inspection and advise you the cost of repair.

The man that owned it is no longer around his wife is the one selling it. I think it is a pressure relief valve. I was just trying to get a quality answer without a smart answer. I was just looking for information sorry for asking I will go else where for a answer.

He wasn't being a smart a$$, you gave us little to go on, better info would help us give you a better answer.

I did tell you that any relief valve will not dump fluid on the ground, so that's out.
