What can cause all four injectors to go bad on an M6060 with less than 300 hours on this tractor. Report said injectors low pressure at high rpm. Wondering if sensor for turbo wastegate could be the problem.

Hard to believe but could be a defective batch from manufacturing.

I'm trying to understand/learn...

"Report said injectors low pressure at high rpm."

How is this an injector problem? I didn't know the injector is capable of increasing pressure. Was under the impression the injection pump is what creates the high fuel pressures and the injector only opens and closes to control fuel amount and timing.

Since the fuel system is a vital part of the emissions system, would this be covered under the emissions warranty? Emissions warranty is longer than the standard tractor warranty.

Isn't it a common rail motor? If it is, should be covered under the emissions component warranty I'd think.

water can cause injectors to fail prematurely.

If high pressure is low at higher RPM, that doesn't necessarily mean the injectors are "bad". It could be a lot of things. They can test the injectors, however, but they need to be sent off to a place that specializes in injectors. Most Kubota dealers don't have that equipment to properly do it.

Sometimes injectors will fail, still run fine, but they'll bypass too much fuel and set a code. Duramax's are known for this.

As mentioned, if the injectors are removed and taken to a diesel injection pump service shop they can test the injectors in a few minutes.

I have one 60 miles away. I call to let them know my problem and ask if they can test the injectors. I then set a scheduled time to be there, and they have me out of there in 30 minutes....after visiting for 15!
