Sold my bx2230 several years ago. Had a full set of tires and wheels with turfs and r1's. Sold the bx with the turfs on it and kept the r1's. Bought a new bx 2670 and ordered the industrial tires with it. Noticed the front wheels looked different and cked the size. They were 10 inch and the wheels from the 2230 were 8 inch. Outside dimension was the same Just chalked it up to being the industrial tires. Last week , tore a hole in the side of one of the front tires. Closest one was 2 days away . NO problem, I'll just put the 2 spare ag tires and wheels on. Surprise!! The wheels hit the housing that holds the bevel gears. Somewhere along the way, Kubota changed the housing size. The solution was a set of spacers . Cheaper and a whole lot faster than selling the ones that don't fix and buying new ones.

Careful doing that, moving the wheels out even an inch changes the center line out and increases the load on the bearings drastically. :(

This is especially true on an axle as short as the front axle on a BX. Spacers on the rear axle have a longer moment arm so the load on the bearing doesn't increase much.

Is there an offset in the wheel? If so, can you flip 'em for more clearance?

So my 2" Brotek rear spacers just arrived. Is there some caution that needs to be observed regarding the bearings?
Wondered that myself. Think I read in the BX manual not to use spacers but dont know why?
