I had the same problem. The white plug going to the starter can be pulled apart far enough to cut power while still being locked together. I know it makes no sense! Try pushing it back together. When this happened to me it went off and on for two weeks. It would start no problem some days and others I could not get it to turn over. I checked and cleaned the battery terminals and spent a lot of time checking all the safety's. I finally called the dealer to pick it up. I found the problem that day!

Gee thought I was the only one that happened to.... as LA says, check the 'control wire' connector on the starter. Once I pushed it on, we were 'good to go' ! I used a tyrap to secure it so it can't fall off.

I made a very long, expensive service call one time to find this wire off! Needless to say it is the second thing I tell customers to check these days after ensuring the PTO lever is right back.

If Kubota had supplied a good, readable wiring diagram in the manual, it'd be a 5 minute..doh--that's easy to fix.. instead of a couple hours. Even the downloaded WSM schematic is UNREADABLE..sigh...
