Hello all new to the forum and I just puurachased a 2002 L2600 DT with a leak coming from the spacer between the clutch housing and the transmission and its a pretty steady drip! I tried tighting the bolts which were loose but it only slowed it down. Has anyone had any experience with this? Also in the parts manual it shows a gaset on both sides of spacer but in the WSM it says to use liquid gasket 3 bond? The previous owner did tell me the Kubota fixed it once under warranty.

Thanks for the reply, 030 is the spacer block and it was leaking on both sides at the bottom. I have the tractor split and cleaned up, just waiting for the gasket. In the work shop manual it says to use Threebond and doesn't mention the gasket, just wondering Which way to go.

I use both in situations like this. ;)
Just a thin layer on both sides of the gasket.

Need to clean all 4 iron faces really well - the original factory sealant is very tough and hard to get rid of. I've had good results with a wire cup wheel on my grinder.
