Can someone lead me to the correct way in simple terms to do an accurate compression test on a L245F ?
Im going to have the glow plugs removed and I believe I have found a guy with the correct (500 psi and 8mm adapter) guage that I can borrow.
How many times should I turn the motor over ?
What and how to do a wet compression test or do I need to do that ?
These are a few of my questions. Ive checked my WSM but there is nothing there in the way of steps or what to watch out for. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Ok I have compression tester and Ive been researching some.
These are the steps I have so far along with two questions.

1)First run engine until hot.
2)(First Question) So I can remove the fuel line that keeps me from accessing any glow plug and set that fuel line to the side (so I can perform step 3) without the worry of shooting fuel as long as I hold the throttle in the shutdown position when turning over engine ?
3)(If yes)Then remove all 3 glow plugs.
4)Install compression tester.
5)Hold the throttle lever in the shut down position while cranking over engine until maximum compression.
Do I have to remove the muffler and air cleaner for an accurate test ?any readings are low then I will run a wet test.

Any further help with my questions please or heads up suggestions.
Thanks
