I have a L3240 that quit on me this morning while pulling wood. to make a long story short it turned out to be the key stop fuse, I replaced it with another 5amp fuse and it blew so I put the spare 10amp in and it started.. sitting at my garage now but I was wondering if anybody else has had this problem?

Considering it's the 5 amp fuse, you more than likely have either, have a Stop relay or Stop relay timer that is failing, or you have a wire that is getting rubbed and shorting out.

I would bet on the relay or timer. ;)

found the problem, one of the wires ti the safety switches under the dash was chaffed and grounding out.. A mechanic at the dealer said that its quite common..
