I don't know the L4600, but I am very experienced with clutch issues in manual transmissions. Either lose the habit that I have of "riding the clutch", or stash beacoup bucks for new pressure plates and driven discs!

I expect the L4600 manual has information on adjusting the clutch, and I'm sure one of the gurus will chime in soon with details.

And I apologize for offensive assumptions: there are other causes of slipping clutches than operators riding the clutch. Not many, but...

At 10 hour and it's slipping, call the dealer!
Seriously I don't think it's as simple of a problem as a simple adjustment!

I agree with Wolfman. At 10 hrs the clutch should work perfect. You could have a seal leaking or anything like that. No matter what has happened, if it's slipping now the clutch has taken a major hit and the life expectancy has been cut way down. Let the dealer do the warranty work that you already paid for when you purchased the tractor.

I agree, I need to call my dealer.,I checked it today and the clutch does not engage until it's over 2 inches from the floor, and I don't notice any free play at complete release, not slipping today, it was about 10 degrees when I originally noticed it , moving snow. I noticed a hook that can hold the clutch pedal all the way down, what's the purpose of that ?
