Quick release wasn't leaking before I unhooked to remove FEL. It was not easy to unhook and took a prybar to get it to move(pressure and machine turned off), once I got lever to move a 1/4inch, I was able to release it with two hands. Anyway after reattaching, I now have a steady drip on the blue connector(rearward line) while in use. The handle is fulling engaged. Any Ideas? Will undo FEL again this weekend to look at connection better.

I have the same machine and have experienced this, disconnect and reconnect ,it is usually caused by pressure on that rear line. I have found before disconnecting to completely "relax" the loader ,makes reconnecting much easier, Also when when disconnecting, before you try to move handle on valve, pull out on blue knob,it is the latch for the handle. Hope this helps.

i don't see the blue knob you are referring to? I do have a red cap that although not leaking is so loose(can't tighten)I don't see the purpose. Its on the side of the removable piece.

Well that explains your use of a pry bar to open it up.

The red knob WAS a lock.

You have very likely broken the coupler and / or the red knob that was the lock that held the coupler lever closed. :(

Okay, maybe not my brightest move but in my defense, all the videos I watched, none said anything other than the release lever. I will have to take closer look this weekend. I don't suppose anyone has that part number in case it needs replacing.

Any time your disconnecting lower any attachments front and rear, shut the tractor off and move the loader joystick in a circular motion to release any pressure in the hydraulics.

Did you read your owners manual instead of trying to watch videos?

Flogler.... Boy! Some of us really pile it on when we find someone ELSE has made the kind of stoopid mistakes WE rarely admit to, heh?
Sorry. BTDT.
When I was a city-mouse who had just moved to the country and tried to disconnect a bat-wing shredder from a JD I tried everything I could to get those quick-disconnects to “quick” disconnect. I gave up when the tractor owner couldn’t do it either.
It was years before I realized: 1- The owner was entering Alzheimers, and 2- They disconnect better when all the hydraulic pressure is released first. ;)

I did have pressure released and yes I didn't see the safety lock. Good news though, after reading these comments and thinking, safety lock would have nothing to do with the leak. I listened to one of the suggestions and removed the manifold(much easier now) and cleaned all the fittings. Reassembled and no leaks. I do have a temp hold though on the lever to make sure it can't move.

Just the handle is what I need. I do have all the pieces and actually just the pin in the handle but I probably can't get that separate

I've made my share of mistakes in the past, and I'm sure I will make a few more. I am only 64, so there is plenty of time to screw up a few more things in my life. One thing I know for sure is education is never cheap. You can pay to get an education or learn the hard way. It never comes free. Hopefully, any parts you may need can be bought without the need for a second mortgage;)

As i’ve said before, I wish kubota would go back to the old connectors, this flat face quad connector is nothing but trouble, and looks to me slower.
