Can someone recommend an economical quick hitch for my L2350. Does it need to be category 1 or 2 or one for both? Brands to stay away from? It will not get heavy use. Basically I will use a 5 ft box blade, 5 ft finish mower and possibly a boom pole.

Harbor freight has them for less than a $100.00. Plus they always have 20 or 30 % of coupons available. Probably not the best but several members are pleased with them .

You are correct. It will not get much use.
If you are like most of us who have one.... it will sit in the corner of the barn. Why? Because it will fit only work with a few of your implements and its just as much trouble to put on/take off again as it would be to simply mount/dismount the implement itself,...

Well harbor frieght QH is the most economical.

You need a Cat 1 Quick hitch (as that is what the tractor is), but you will need bushings or pin changes on the equipment as the QH has cat 2 hooks on it.

You might have issues with its use on the Finish mower and boom pole, depending their design.

If the boom pole is a standard 3 point mount no issue, if it's mounted like a post hole digger (center link directly to the tractor) then it won't work.

For the mower, if it has a floating top link you will need to purchase the adapter for the QH for it to work.

I got a Pat's Quick Hitch for my L2501. Why? It's the only one I've seen which doesn't use that rigid frame. It allows me to use different width implements and works with all of them. Note - it does move your implement back a couple inches so if your PTO shaft is questionable now it may be too short with the hitch. You may also need some chain or something to extend your top link.

After looking at reviews I tend to agree with it will sit in the barn. I leaning toward Pat's quick connect.

I was about to go with PATS but @MtnviewRanch pointed out that all of my attachments were new and Quick Hitch compatible so I got the Land Pride QH15 and have never removed it from my tractor. With the 2 rear hydraulics and the optional floating top link I can adjust to all of my attachments easily.
