@cmorningstar01, thanks for the input but I think you're not looking at what I'm talking about. A locating lug wouldn't be plastic. It's the small fitting on the yellowish plastic cover on the pto shaft. It's sticking out next to the black plastic ring.

Thanks, but no the pto shaft is greasable. There's another fitting just like in the pic on the other end of the pto shaft and the manual says to grease both of them. Not sure what you mean by yoke. If you're talking about the u-joints then they have there own grease fittings which I've already...

The plastic grease fitting does not have a cover. It is molded as part of the pto shaft safety cover. It looks like the one in this pic.

There is a grease fitting on my tiller (not on the pto shaft) that the manual calls the outboard hub fitting. It is on the opposite side as the gear drive . I'm not sure how much grease to put in.
