I just changed the fluid and filter on a M135GX...all i did was pull the plug..cleaned the magnets that are part of the plug and the filter has a magnet that comes with the new filter..i bought the 100.00 filter at Kubota but went with O'Reillys Premium Hyd Transmission Fluid since the tractor...

I would lean to the alternator locking up..never had a water pump lock up but not saying it couldnt..check all the pulleys and idlers like the previous post suggested.

I dont know about Kabota because I haven't had a front hub problem but have been down that road with a dk 90 Kiota..my advice on it is if you are seeing oil tear it down..just spent 2g and not everthing was shelled..not to hard to open it up and inspect the seals and bearing and gears..first...

I have slow and sluggish responses from the hyds...gate is opening and shutting too slow on my baler..i imagine its the filter and possibly a suction screen if this tractor has one. Another ? is am I going to dump all the fluid when I remove the filter..thanks for any info.
