Lift the blower off of the ground ,turn your pto off and shut your tractor off. Make sure nothing is still turning, then check that you can turn the blower easily by hand. If it turns easily find a flat place, lower it and verify its level. Your 3 point hitch top link may be too long and...

Well mine is not low hours at 3850 but the recommended service for hst oil is every 400 hours with filter changes at the 200 hour mark. Must be nice to have a low hour one. Incredible machine, mine still runs like a new one.

Thanks, but that seems like a pretty high risk of oil Contamination draining all that oil under a dirty tractor. I am hoping that someone had some experience spinning the filters off without all the oil draining.

Hi Everyone, I was just wondering what everyone does when they change the hst and hydraulic filters at the 200 hour mark. Do you drain your oil? Like the manual directs or can you just change the filters?

Hi, I have a drip which appears to be coming from where the 2 halves of the lift pump are pressed together. Is there any procedure (ie engine turn to tdc) to removing and replacing? Thanks

I checked the lug nuts and they were all tight. I decided to check the front axle adjustment, and the front axle was a little loose. Tightened it up and it doesn't seem to do it anymore.

I have been noticing the slightest thump/ clunk when going from forward to reverse. Tractor is running great, not sure what could cause this. Runs smooth almost like something is shifting back and forth. I keep it in 2wd.

I didn't see a buzzer in the wiring schematic. Kind of thought it might be a relay chattering but if yours is the same i guess its nothing to worry about.

For the last couple of weeks i have noticed that the glow plug light does not stay on for for more then 1 or 2 seconds and if you shut the key off and turn back on the light does not illuminate on the 2nd on cycle. I have also noticed the tractor is much harder to start then before. Any thoughts...

Not sure i like the way this is made, as it could wear the oilpan in it got locked onto shaft. Should have a anti rotation feature.

Just watch if your cover is binding at all on the shaft. Mine started rotating and the screws started to dig into the oil pan. Could have been a disaster. Made a very light woosh sound when driving around slow.

Ok so the fittings are the important piece to make the change. I looked in my service manual and it appears that both the boom and the dipperstick have the same relief valve setting of 3390 to 3460 psi. Thanks for all the help.

I haven't been able to find one on it, and have never heard of one on the l48's.

Has anyone done this successfully. I only found one thread on this, and after swapping the hoses the backhoe did not function properly. Is the correct way to disassembly the valve a change the valve block positions?

Were the seals and sleeve redesigned after 2006? Going to try work with the garage i bought it from to have it repaired. Thanks for all the help with it.

The machine's history is not known. It has about 3500 hours. Everything on the machine works really well, and the loader and backhoe are very tight. Only issue i have with the machine is the leak. Would missing item 170 cause a oil leak? I though the seal ran on item 60?
