Thanks for all the info found the problem the o-ring on the expansion valve was bad and was leaking. Bad part is the roof liner was a pain to get down, half of the bolts hold the top on also and did not want to come out .

Yes it has a closed unit with a cooler fan. Is there a relay that might be getting hot also we looked and can not see one.
