3 PT hitch Fast -Slow Knob

whoa, wish it was that easy on my bx1850. i think i'd have the tractor halfway apart to get to that breakdown. mine is stuck - i assume it's stuck wide open since anything attached will fall with 0 resistance. i've given it several shots of PD blaster, but no luck. i'm afraid to apply any...

    antifreeze change out

I'm about to change mine as well. I landed on the Peak Final Charge which supposedly can last up to 8 years. I'll flush completely, run through with radiator flush treatment, then likely run another round of distilled water. Maybe a little over kill but, labor of love I suppose. I wouldn't...

    Chain tie downs with ratchet

I use a huge chain in the rear, then move tractor fwd a bit on trailer to tighten it up, then a heavy duty ratchet strap up front.

    BX1850 HST, new to me

It would roll away until you used the brakes. Let off the gas/fwd, apply brakes as needed just like in your truck, 4-wheeler, etc. Seems like this would be so much better than trying to brake appropriately by feathering off the fwd/reverse pedal. Also, then I'm using the brakes to stop the...

    BX1850 HST, new to me

I recently purchased this fine piece of machinery. Thus far I've been impressed with it, especially the MMM. The prior owner must have spent some time getting it right, it cuts perfectly and my yard is anything but flat/smooth. I'll definitely be upgrading the seat, not sure why they would...

    Cool Weather Prep

I'm in Ga too, curious to what others do. I don't do anything. When i used to have motorcycles, i'd keep 'em slam full of fuel all winter to help keep moisture out. And stabil.

    Diesel Additives

Sta-bil diesel. I use sta-bil in every tank of anything I don't use on a daily basis. I'm a firm believer in the stuff.

    That Float Thing?

Interesting, I thought every FEL had this feature. Without this, how do you relieve pressure when it's parked? I wish my 3PH had a similar feature (do any?), there are times when using the box blade that i really just need to smooth a surface instead of trying to level it, if that makes sense...

    BX2200 Starting procedure

The colder it is, the longer you'll likely need to hold the key (should be a dash light that comes on for plugs).. manual says 2-3 secs for above freezing, 5-10 secs for below. It says to set throttle to halfway.

    Insuring my kubota

To my knowledge, most homeowner policies cover equipment used to maintain your home/land, while it's on your property. So it may not be covered when you take it off your property, trailer it, etc. Your auto policy likely has a very small coverage limit on stuff you tow. Mine is listed...
