Thanks Wildfire. As I suspected from watching his other videos, no shortage of helpful tips there!

    BX25 Service video

For those who are interested, Paul Short had to take the video re BX25 service down for various reasons. In any case, the poor guy is trying to recover from a heart attack, so I don't think we need to pursue that option. If anybody knows of any other videos out there, please let me know...

Thanks. Sounds easy. (Famous final words. You'll probably read about me in the papers: "Man sets self on fire while "fixing" his tractor.")

    BX25 Service video

Hi Hokie: Are you saying that if the fuel tank is at least half full, then gravity will take care of any air in the line? Also, what does it mean to burp the filter and how is it done? Thanks. Mark

    BX25 Service video

I didn't know that. I've seen that some of the mods claim that you can replace both small filters with the one larger one, which is attached down below the engine on the side of the tractor.

Thanks for the tips, Hokie! I know there was some debate on other threads about the need to bleed the line after the filter change. But I'll give it a try.

    BX25 Service video

Thanks SJD. I guess I should also clarify that, although the fuel filters are not really part of the 50 hour service (per owner's manual), I would like to see a video of it being done. So maybe I'm actually looking for two videos. I know Paul did a video for upgrading to a single, external...

    BX25 Service video

Hello All: Can anyone please point me in the direction of a video that shows the 50 hour service for the BX25D? I found a couple, but they do not seem to work (private video?). I am most interested in seeing the replacement of the two fuel filters. Thanks for your help. Mark

Thanks for the input. Hopefully we're right about that. And how could a couple of bright guys like us possibly be wrong? :D

    BX5450 Snowthrower (w/pics)

Hi NetMagi: I just re-read your entire thread. This morning I was noticing how much play there is in the chute, like the issue you had. Maybe I will try to order those parts they suggested for you.

    BX5450 Snowthrower (w/pics)

Great. I'd appreciate it if you took a look at yours. I think if I bought mine new I would try the preventative methods that you use. As it is, the machine looks good, normal rust, so I'll just brush it off and treat the exposed metal.

    BX5450 Snowthrower (w/pics)

Hi All. Just picked up a used BX5450 snowblower and notice a small hole in the bottom rear of the impeller housing. I'm hoping this is a designed weep hole to allow drainage and not corrosion. There is rust in the impeller housing but it does not seem severe or unusual for a used attachment. Any...

    hole in BX5450 snowblower?

Hi Hokie: No idea how to upload an image from dropbox here. (So easy on Craig's List). To me the hole looks like a half circle, a bit smaller than half a dime, like maybe it's supposed to be there. But I'm hoping someone with the same unit will let me know if they have the same hole.
