In response to my request on the pictured item, it looks like a fuel pump. Power wire was hidden behind it and didn't see it at first.

The tank is off, it was a bit of work to remove but I will feel better knowing it is cleaned properly. Can anyone tell me what the item circled in red is in the picture below?

There seems to be quite a bit of crud in the tank. While it was open for a few weeks, I wondered if the access to light allowed the growth of fungus inside the tank.

The tank is plastic, will acetone harm it?

Update: Drained tank, flushed lines to spin on filter, replaced filter. Partial filled tank with fuel and additive. Run a short time and separator full again, there must be some area that held water and slimy gunk. Drained separator again and had partial refill after running mower a few minutes...

I stopped by and looked at tractor on my through today to check on a few things mentioned. Pic shows water definitely in system. Tank was still full of fuel so, siphoning going on. I think I will drain fuel from tank and see how it goes and get the additive from Napa to help with moisture...

Went out to my property to mow with my 2015 L3901 and found the fuel filler cap missing. The tractor was sitting within sight of chip road so I don't know if I left loose, raccoon spun it off, or someone else lost theirs and mine was a handy replacement. I lean towards the last scenario, but...

Ok here's where I'm at so far.... Disconnected, surface cleaned, reconnected the 4 quick disconnects for the FEL. Took the cover off the joystick controls and cleaned chaff and a few twigs from around the top of the control box. Seems to be working perfectly now. I will find out with the coming...

Do I have to get Kubota fittings or are they fairly universal and Napa will have them.

I appreciated the humor, but I have to hold the joystick open in just the right spot.... too far up or down and nothing happens. Should I remove the affected disconnects and try to clean or just replace them?

I'm having an issue with the raising and lowering of the loader arms. At times I have to hold joystick just so to get it to move up or down. When moving it is very slow. Other time seems to work just fine and float seems fine. No problem with tractor movement or tipping the bucket up or down...

I'm a big guy that would like more leg and belly room in the operators station. Has anyone raised and moved the seat rearward on their tractor? I'm looking for more steering wheel clearance and a higher seating position for more comfortable pedal operation.

Thanks for the thought fodder. I was hoping there was a connection I could unplug and at least keep the honest folks honest. Fuel shut off is probably the best avenue, I will have to look things over and see what I can do.

I might need to leave y tractor in the country a few nights, is there a good way to hinder the tractor from an easy start by thieves of opportunity?

I purchased a 2015 L3901 HST with 23 hours from the local New Holland dealer. It has about 9 months of warranty left on it, How do I go about transferring the warranty and registering the tractor so I would receive any updates or policy adjustment notifications?
