    Just Bought L245DT. Need Advice for First Servicing.

    I've found that you should cover the steering wheel if you keep the tractor outside. I recently had to help replace the steering box on one because water traveled down the steering column into the box, with nowhere to drain.

    I wouldn't use the swirl tip, I'd start with a regular tip, say 15 degrees. You'll have a lot more control with that tip moving in and out. The swirl tip is basically a solid straight tip that can damage a lot of sensitive things (paint, electrical, etc).

    I have 42" forks on my L3200HST and have been disappointed in the lifting capacity. I can't even lift 4 railroad ties, and I do know that the weight should be closet to the tractor. I've checked my hydraulic pressures, and they are all within specs. I hesitate to bump up the relief valve because...

    Kubota 2660 Runs Hot

    I had a similar problem when I bought my L245DT. The previous owner had complained about it for some time to the dealer. Turned out the fix was fairly simple. It turned out that most of the radiator fins were plugged with mud, hay, etc. After I cleaned the fins the overheating problem went away.
