    Remote Rear Hydraulics

First of all you need to acquire and install the power beyond sleeve for your valve in the N port. Then you connect that to the 3pt port on the tractor. The T port goes to any tank return. I think there is a plug near the 3pt port buf if not the tank filler is often used. Dan

    Remote Rear Hydraulics

Your valve has two outlets. The one labeled N is high pressure power beyond and is used to power a downstream valve. This is the port that goes back to the power beyond pipe connection on your tractor. You need to install a power beyond conversion sleeve in the N port before connecting the...

    L3010 GST Shifting Problems

Spirex is a family of products. Which specific oil did he use. If all he did was top off I would not suspect the oil caused a problem. Dan

M6800 water in hydraulic oil again. Won't move at 26F. Additives?

Sounds like a freeze up problem - ice forming and blocking the hydraulic system. SUDT2 is very good at dealing with water intrusion but no oil can handle excessive amounts. Dan

Time for a cam and lifters?

The face on solid tappet lifters is crowned so refacing is a job best left to an automotive machine shop. Dan

    Kubota M7030 hydraulic problem

The pump had enough oil in it to prime after the first addition. Do you have a loader or remotes on that tractor? Dan

My "data" consists of personal reasearch that finds a plethora of articles focused on cylindercwall cavitation on skeeved engines but no mention of cavitation outside of sleeved engines. I find that telling but far from authoritative. Cavitation is a documented problem in lots of other areas -...

I am not an expert but as far as I know cylinder wall erosion from cavitation is only a problem on wet sleeve engines. The cavitation is caused my the sleeves vibrating and forming voids in the coolant that then collapse and "explode" creating pits in the metal. Nitrites are used to create a...

Time for a cam and lifters?

Valves are adjustable. Why cant you replace just one lifter? That gets done all the time. Personally I would have all of them refaced. Dan

Cavitation is a concern in wet sleeve engines. Kubotas are not wet sleeve. Dan

I had tk look it up. Appears to be one of many Supplemental Coolant Additives (SCA). These are usually used to replenish depleted additives and extend the service life of conventional coolant. Since Kubota specifies a extended life coolant and regular scheduled changes it serves no purpose...

    PTO hydraulic pump

Its not complicated. This pump will give you 7 GPM which is probably a bit more than the OEM pump. Pressure will be determined by the valve on the hoe. Fitting it onto the B7610 PTO will be the main issue. Dan https://surpluscenter.com/3-41-cu-in-7-4-gpm-540-rpm-dynamic-hyd-pto-pump/

Putting the cart before the horse…..Three Phase power question???????

Yes, we have gone far afield. As I said in my initial response: If its a small machine and that is all you will ever need the choice is simple - buy a VFD. If its a BIG machine and/or down the line you will have a shop full of 3 phase machines a RPC becomes a very attractive and cost effective...

Gearbox oil - am I smarter than Kubota engineers?

I hate to nit-pik but you cannot interpolate/extrapolate from those numbers. Its a logarithmic calculation and the curve gets close to vertical below 0C and close to flat at temps over 80C Dan
