    Pointless Upgrade?

You could get a set of pallet forks that attached to the three point hitch. This would carry a little more weight than your front end loader. But it won’t give you much height. The spec sheet on the B 2601 says the front and loader can lift roughly 950 pounds at the pins. Your three point hitch...

    California does it again!

Lack of parts to fix the truck. Brand new truck and couldn’t get parts for it. And this was back in 2017 long before they were having problems that we’re having now. In a state with rolling blackouts the sale of gas generators will be banned in 2028...

    California does it again!

it is my understanding that the state of California comes on to your property and look at your equipment i.e. tractors combines etc. if the machine is too old you are no longer able to use it. That is why it is a problem. They are forcing you to buy new equipment regardless of the consequences...

    2 Wheel Drive

The locking differential should only be engaged when the wheels are not spinning. once you are free you should take your heel off of the lever and let it disengage. The tractor will not turn as sharp and it will scarf up with your yard if you try to drive it all the time with the differential...

    L355SS 3-point & box blade

You need to adjust the top link also. The extra weight will help but you’ve probably got the top link too long. Shorten it and see if it doesn’t smooth better.

    Yard needs smoothing tool

The drag that you’re showing doesn’t weigh very much. Without the weight it is just going to follow the contours of whatever you’re driving over. conceptually it’s a good idea but functionality is not there. That is why people of suggested the chain-link fence, tire drags, wooden drags etc...

L3901 engine powers down, stalls after running a short time

On my tractor the fuel filter is inside the water separator. Often on here the people say they checked the filter. A blocked or damaged filter does not show any problems but it will not allow the fuel to flow correctly. So they often look at the filter and say something like, "It looked good so...

    Yard needs smoothing tool

you could always go to a nearby store or industrial area and they’ll give you a pallet. Bolt two old tires together and use it as as a drag. There’s a bazillion ways to make a drag. A piece of chain-link fence. I had a friend that had a door company and took out the security gate on a house and...

    Long Arms

Perhaps you should explain the problem better. I just sold a Ford 501 mower. I believe when they were sold new there was a piece to fit on each lift arm. However the one I had did not have those pieces any more. It had pins that allowed it to hook up to the 3 point without any problems. Maybe a...

    L2501 axle case

before you order the replacement part I would disassemble the tractor and check for internal damage. I had a Massey Ferguson 1528 and broke the rear axle housing. When we tore it down there was damage to at least two of the gears. The bottom of the transmission had shavings in it.

B7800 will only run for a min but start back up?

Replace the fuel filter. You can’t look at it and judge it to be good or not. A water soaked one will look just like a diesel soaked one. They’re relatively inexpensive so the first thing you should do after checking for water in the diesel is to replace it.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Drill the hole out on the pins. Then you can push the hairpins past both humps so that they hang straight down and can swing in the breeze. The weed gnomes can no longer snag the hairpins.

locking the 3 point hitch in a desired down postion on a L3301

It is very easy to attach hold down chains down to draw bar. This would prevent the three-point from coming up. But having to manually remove them when you wanted the full function of your three point.

Has anyone filled their tires with fluid and regretted it?

Listen to this video as he explains the need for ballast, to prevent wear and increase safety. Look at the JD videos as they explain the need for 3 point ballast because the iron rear wheel and liquid ballast are not enough to transfer the weight to the rear axle. Look at the rear wheels...
