    PTO Wood Splitter Questions

These pumps are nice, because easy to install, just plugnplay. You can use them directly on the PTO-shaft of the tractor or mount them on the splitter as they are. Simple. But have a look at the max. pressure of these pumps. It's only 2250 or 2500 psi. - So, to get up to the splitting power you...

    PTO Wood Splitter Questions

It's 16.77 tons:) If you go to a 4" cylinder, the splitting power goes down but the speed increases . No. The force only depends on the square measureof the cylinder and the pressure. The Volume (GPM) only has influence to the cycling speed.

    PTO Wood Splitter Questions

Ok, all we need ... Let's say, working pressure shall be 3000 psi (207 bar). I wouldn't go higher with a DIY build. With this, you are nearest to the 22 ton with a 4.5" Cylinder: (sorry, I have to do it in the metric system) 4.5" are 114.3 mm dia and 57.15 mm radius Formular is...

    PTO Wood Splitter Questions

A 4" Cylinder (inner dia), operated with max pressure of 2500 psi, has a maximum splitting power of 13,98 ton. If you want to run it with a cycle speed of let's say 6"/s (fast midrange) in splitt direction, you need 19,54 GPM and 25 kW (34 HP) at max pressure and flow. The speed is a very...

    Hydraulic Flow Rate Chart

To move a cylinder from time to time, it's ok. As far as these 5 GPM should flow constantly, the charts you found are correct. The 1/4 lines are too small for that! Yes, absolutely

    Hydraulic Flow Rate Chart

Well, you can do it with a 1/4", it'll work, but it doesn't make sense. At first, the backpressure that the lines/hoses build up by itself shouldn't be higher than the backpressure the Tool/device with no load (!) builds up. Second, the velocity of the fluid in (the most) tractor systems...

    M8950DT Hydraulic Issues

Did you check the power shift? Does it work? - The PTO ist engaded by hydraulik pressure, right? If yes, there might be a Problem with the gears that drive the pumps. Its the same for both pumps, I guess. Or both pumps suck the oil from the same line and that line is probably blocked.

    L6060 will not start

That's a signal problem of the rear PTO shaft switch. If the wiring harness isn't connected or loose, the starter won't even crank. Same with the little switch on the left rear Fender, if there is one. It also can be a defective switch. Sometimes those switches are a bit tricky, when there are...

mechanical ratio of B7000 four wheel drive???

Sorry, I can't tell you the exact gear ratio, but the ratio of the original tires is 1:1,363. - So the gear ration will be something like 1:1,39 The ratio of the tires you've on now is 1:1.459 . If you want to stick to the 235/85-16, you need bigger tires in the front. Like perhaps 175(/80)-12...

Kubota L6060 third function wire harness

Sorry, do't know anything about that system. But one question: the green plug is connected to the valves of the third function? If so, the plug has to go to the Handle for the FEL in the Cab. This Handle must have one or two knobs/switches for the third function.

    Loader in float position?

If you want to warm up the hydraulic-/transmission-oil a little quicker, just let one valve function run against the overpressure valve. For example, if you have an auxiliary hydraulic valve with a catch for one direction, use this during engine warm up. Because of the little extra work the...

    M4D-071 noise

My neigbour and I, with our two M4D-071s, know this noise very well. My one did it only a few times during the first 100 hours by hitting the break. But the one of my neighbour made this noise nearly every time the transmission warmed up to final working temperature. It sometimes was so loud...

I wonder about new Kubota tractors...

Thanks for the statement. All true. Except: regeneration on our two M4 needs only 8-12 minutes at only 1600-1700 rpms. (4 times the last 250 hours) That's the point:) five times NO

    Kubota parts list

which link is it? - Sorry, didn't found. Are there all Kubota parts-lists shown or only those from older tractors? I'm actually looking for a partslist and a WSM for a M4(D)-071 Traktor. Do I have a chance to find that somewhere? Thanks for any help.

    Conceptual Hydraulic Cylinder Question

YES The drop speed control is a simple "Throttle check valve" . The check valve blocks the oil-flow in one line from the cylinder to the system and parallel to this the throttle part regulates that flow in the second line. (all in a tiny valve block). So if you close that throttlevalve and...

    pto not disengaging

Did you clean the the electrohydraulic Valve for the PTO? Maybe it stucks open because of filings. Is the PTO still engaged after you shut off the engine for some hours? (don't start, try to turn by hand)
