    Buying L3560HSTC-LE

JonnyRay, Please keep me posted. Great for you & exciting. We had a bad storm last night & I told my wife … I need a tractor asap. I’ve got 3 huge trees down & 6 smaller ones. Using my truck, trailer and 2 Sthil MS 261 CM’s is wearing me out. I just think with a tractor / grapple my...

    Buying L3560HSTC-LE

1st gear, great intel. Thank you for sharing. I was looking at the new L4802 before I saw the FEL capacity & extra goodies on the L3560 & L4060 w the 805 loader. I’ve got 19 acres. 12 which is fairly finished & just mowed twice annually & has horses on it through October. I’ve got...

To fill or not to fill...also, spacers

Griz, really enjoy your input & thoughts. That’s my one fear w the cab. One of our fields has some low-hanging limbs. Plus side of the cab is I’ve gotten poison ivy twice this summer clearing russian olive w chainsaws and pushing through the vines … just brutal. I think the grapple /...

To fill or not to fill...also, spacers

Griz, My wife has been giving me grief about all the research I’ve been doing on this. She’s usually spot on but since this is all new to me … figure measure a few times & cut once. I don’t recall exactly how much less the Limited Edition was … your guesstimate sounds close though. I was...

To fill or not to fill...also, spacers

The Ltd Edition is a bit less expensive. I was initially looking btw MX5400, L4701 now replaced by L4802. So started chatting w folks here and at dealers regarding new L4802. Grand L4760 was out of my price range w implements. L4802 was my initial interest though I noticed smaller HP Grands...

To fill or not to fill...also, spacers

You’re spot on regarding the rear rims being pushed out further. I’m doing that for certain to widest point. I read i. the forum (not the post) somebody had a L4060 and added 2.5 inch spacers after pushing his rims out. He indicated stability increased noticeably & tractor was made re stable...

To fill or not to fill...also, spacers

Griz, Bro-Tek recommend 3 inch spacers for each rear wheel. The gent I spoke w at Bro-Tek mentioned that spacing on fronts is not required & potentially puts extra stress on front axles during loader / grapple work. He indicated the cab adds several hundred pounds and the wider stance will...

To fill or not to fill...also, spacers

I’m working w Messicks on a Grand L4060 HSTC at the moment. I live in Warrenton, VA & our property is hilly. I’ve had several “holy moly” moments on my 60 inch cut ZT. I spoke w Bro-Tek this week & they recommended at least 3 inch spacers on both rear wheels. Front spacers not required...

    Kubota L4802

Great feedback and insight. Thank you for taking the time to respond with such detail, information & clarity of thought. Much appreciated. The “orphan comment” wasn’t me … it was me responding to another who Orange Tractor Member who indicated the L4701 / L4802 are orphans. According...

    Kubota L4802

Cath, I think you’re missing something … the “orphan model” outsold the MX last year 3 to 1 at 3 different dealers I’ve spoken with. I will tell you … I like the FEL lift capacity of the MX5400. We’ll see ….

    Kubota L4802

    I’m deciding between the following 3 tractors: Grand L4060 - 51k w implements L4802 - 55k w implements MX 5400 - 57.6k w implements My goal was to keep all in cost under 60k

    Kubota L4802

    Kubota L4802

Sat down w my dealer last week. He indicated that btw their 3 locations in Virginia they are only slated for 3 L4802’s. He was frustrated as all 3 dealer locations sold dozens & dozens of the L4701 this past year. He said it was one of their best selling compact Kubotas. They seem to move a...

    Kubota L4802

Sparky Prep … well played Sir. I’m still waiting to hear from my dealer. I will reach out to him Friday. Looking at the Grand L4760 as well. Want the L4802 but I am not sure when they will arrive. The Grand L4760 is more than I’d like to pay … we’ll see.

    Kubota L4802

Yes Sir … you’ve arrived at the right place. The 4701 is a heck of a tractor. My dealer has sold through all of his remaining 4701’s (6) and is awaiting delivery of the 4802’s. Looks like late July … maybe August. I guess we’ll find out.

    Kubota L4802

Gents, Below is what I got back from my dealer regarding delivery of the L4802: “So far I do not have any updates on the L4802 I really wish they would let us know something due to the fact we are out of L4701’s” Not much to go on … but it’s what the salesman I’m working with knows.
