Why do you think it isn't working? What is it doing or not doing?

I'm just making a guess but I woulds say you should be around 25 PTO hp. My L 3000 is 32 hp and 27 PTO. Hope this helps.

If flushing the radiator out doesn't fix your overheating problem I have one suggestion. Try Amsoil synthetic oil in the motor. I use their HDD 5w30 heavy duty diesel oil in my tractors. It's expensive but it will lower your water temp and give you the best wear protection available.

If you want the very best oil to protect your investment try Amsoil synthetic oil. It is expensive but the protection you will gain far exceeds the price of the oil. It will run smoother, quieter, and cooler than ever before.
