    snowblower grease fitting

Be sure to get it as straight as possible when you start it in. Maybe you will get lucky and it will stay put. If not it's time to get out the old tap and put some threads in.

    L2800 fuel problem

How far down the fuel system do you have fuel before it stops flowing?

what diesel additives do you use?

One thing to keep in mind though. Your tractor was designed and built when you could buy good fuel. The fuel we have today just doesn't cut the mustard. Nobody but us owners care how long our tractors last. I do agree with you, the more you ask a question the more answers you get.

    Skid Steer Attachment Plate

I put a picture in the gallery of the quick attach system that I was telling you about. If you will go to my album page I have put in several pics including the part number that is for my LA 450 S loader. I have had really good luck with this setup. I can go from bucket to forks in just a couple...

    Fuel Filter Change L3000DT

I agree with you about the damaged lines. I my first solution is much better, I don't know if you read it or not. I personally didn't use the vise grips when I took care of my fuel line cut off problem on my tractor.

I don't like them either. They are a pain.

    Fuel Filter Change L3000DT

I agree with Theekillerbee. The vise grips will work great but you no how some people are. They think if you touch a fuel line with the vise grip teeth it will need to be replaced. We have used that little trick for years ourself.

what diesel additives do you use?

I no plenty of people who run ATF fluid every time they fill up the tank. I use it myself in all my diesels. No fuel supplier is going to tell you to add a product the will give the fuel more lubrication because it will smoke a little more. 5 yrs ago off road fuel had 2000 parts per million of...

    Fuel Filter Change L3000DT

I have a L 3000 myself. It doesn't have a fuel shut off. I took a piece of household plastic wrap and placed it over the fuel fill hole and then screwed the cap back down on the tank. It will build a vaccum as the fuel runs out and then stop leaking. I then cut the line and placed a inline fuel...

    snowblower grease fitting

I think I would go with a new grease fitting instead of reusing the old one. The way I have always put the drive type fittings in is with a socket. Find a socket that will fit around the ball of the fitting but still rest on the base. That way when it's hammered in the fitting won't be damaged...

    Spring has Sprung

I don't think any amount of lights you put on a piece of equipment will help. People now a days don't show any respect for a farmer. I really think they believe we are a target instead of the backbone of the country. What a shame. At least the extra lights will make your Kubota look even better.

    need help changing alternator

I can't give you any advise on the setup that you have but I may be able to give you something to think about. My dad always would swap our old equipment over to a old style Ford alternator with a external regulator. It was a easy way to fix our problems. The main reason for that was that we...

    Help!- operating 3 point hitch

It sounds like you have the same type of backhoe that I do. If it hooks up to the tractor in the same way that a normal implement would the 3ph would go down with the bachoe attached. The top link bar restricks it from doing so. Have you already taken the backhoe off or not. That information...

    Spring has Sprung

:DI'm glad to see the warm weather but not really looking forward to the summer heat. I've been moving equipment all week long for my old shed on the other side of my farm to my new one I built behind my house. Every trip was a double run though. It has been so wet here this year everything went...

    kubota backhoe 4690

I have a 4672 backhoe that I originally had on a B 7100. I changed the top connecting bar to fit my L 3000 and was ready to go. It work just fine but I don't really like all the strain it can put on the lift arms. I have never had anything to break with me but I always keep the arm in mind and...

    FS Suprex oil

I've never heard of that brand. If you want the best oil for your baby you should look into Amsoil Synthetic oil. It is expensive but it will pay for itself in extra fuel economy alone. I use their HDD 5w30 diesel oil in my tractors and diesel truck. Amsoil is used in everything I own. Things...

B7100 scraper blade or box blade

My preference would definately be the box scrape. Not only will it level and smooth out dirt and rock but to a certain extent it will allow you to move material as you go.
