Good catch...the disc is wet. It fell into my pan to catch hydraulic fluid when I fumbled the pressure plate. I haven't taken off the fly wheel, but are there some hints about removing the pilot bearing? I think it is pressed into the crank.

The flywheel looks perfect...not even a rub mark.

I had similar problem with B8200HST. I finally found that the relief valve in the block valve was not functional. This caused the fluid in the pipe from the FEL and the normal charging line to the 3pt controller to overwhelm/pressurize the hydraulic filter.

I ordered the shims for the hydraulic block for a B8200HST. All the shims for the relief valve were missing. I could not find the thicknesses for the shims, but now I have measured them for future reference. Part 67111-37530 0.25mm Part 67111-37580 0.75mm Part 67810-37590 0.30mm

Would there be any advantage to removing the GST valve and looking inside? But I am certain that I do not know what to look for, even when splitting the tractor.

It was dis-engaged for a long time. It suggests to me that the clutch is now engaging because the PTO works in neutral and in gear. But tractor does not move. Based on the WSM, the transmission main shaft has to rotate for the PTO to operate, right?

I checked the PTO with the tractor in gear and shuttle forward. PTO runs and I could not stop it by using a 2x4 wedged onto it.

MR. S I did not check it when in gear. I did test it in neutral and it appeared to be working. I attempted to stop it turning using a 2x4, but I could not. Not a fail proof test, but it suggests that the clutch is working. I will test the PTO today. Thanks for the followup.
