    turn buckles

He's already messaged me. I have no attachment to them- I have a couple of practice sets of telescoping stabilizers, so if the currents ones don't hold up, I can throw another set on. I have enough still sitting around collecting dust...

    Need help selecting tiller size

I agree 100%. An extra pass or two is nothing- a tiller that won't work well on the tractor is a problem. Good choice on the 48"- I don't think you will be disappointed.

    turn buckles

I have really given my homemade telescoping stabilizers a work out today, and they are holding up well! The more I use them, the more I hate my old turnbuckles. Anybody need a set of turnbuckles from a B7100?

    Need help selecting tiller size

I have the KK II 48" also, and my B7100 powers it fine. It is very heavy and heavy duty, and I have noticed that it does not bounce at all when I till- I would imagine that lighter weight tillers might bounce some, but I haven't used another one. A lot will depend on your soil- ours is rich and...

    Tipping over sideways?

Ditto on that. And keep the loader off- even with the bucket down, you still have the arms and supports that are past the point of center when you are sideways on a hill. Read your owners manual- it will tell you to never sidehill. There is a reason for that- it is difficult to judge when you...

    turn buckles

Turnbuckles are stabilizers, also. The method in which they are adjusted is the issue- and I love the telescoping stabilizers that I made for my tractor. Before, you would have to hook up the lower arms, and then turn and turn until the buckles had taken up the slack. Then, get a wrench and...

Bulldog, did you make a set of stabilizers, or buy them? If you bought them, where did you get them? Mark

    Tiller for a B7100HSD

Alright- I gave the 7100/KK 48" tiller a good run today. I am amazed and pleased with how well they did! I tilled up two gardens, and then layed off rows with a potato plow. The 7100 powered and handled the KK tiller wonderfully, and my new homemade stabilizers are the cat's meow! They hold the...

    5' Mkee snow blower..work on B6100?

Sorry- I don't have any direct experience, but my instinct says that the 6100 won't power that big a snowblower, unless it is with a light snow. My dad has a 6 foot for his Ford 3910, and it takes all 50 horses to blow a deep snow. I could be wrong, of course- hopefully someone with firsthand...

    Tiller for a B7100HSD

Not addressed yet- the turf tire question. Mine does fine with turf tires. You aren't pulling a plow- you are controlling the speed of the tilling. You will want to turfs for mowing, so I would stay with those.

    homebuilt stabilizers

I mowed yesterday, and they handled the side-to-side of the mower well. My next plans are to make another set, not using the chain links but round stock, and thicker wall tubing. I will also be looking at heim joints. No doubt about it, though- they are much nicer! Attach the implement, raise it...

    TOTAL NEWBIE looking at B6100

That price sounds high to me, but I would imagine that prices are different in Canada. I bought a really clean, one owner B7100 HST with a nice Woods finish mower for $3000, in comparison. Even if the price is ok, no way would I make a hard commitment without looking it over real well. It...

    homebuilt stabilizers

No quick hitch- that is a scraper blade. They did well using the scraper blade. I will see how they hold up with the tiller and finish mower. This was my first set, and I made compromises, which I plan to correct for- these are a working set, to see what works. I wanted thicker wall square...

    homebuilt stabilizers

I grew tired, quickly, of dealing with the turnbuckles on the lower arms. So, I fashioned a set of adjustable stabilizer bars on my B7100, like the bigger tractors have. I messed with the blade, and they did well- time will tell with a heavier implement, like the tiller. I have included a photo...

    B7100DT - Done

Can you get the orange also, from Kubota? Regardless, it looks great! Even if the paint shade isn't perfect, I'm sure it's a vast improvement!

Changing tine depth on Woods rototiller

Adjust the runners equally on each side of the tiller, for the height that you want.

Any photos of Kubota back blades?

No way! Thanks for the photos- they helped me a ton! That Kubota blade is a dead ringer for the one that I just bought for $80! It had a different name on it (couldn't read it), so I imagine that Special Products made them for other companies, too. I have wondered if I should have gone to look...

Any photos of Kubota back blades?

I found a blade 3 miles from the house, for $80. It isn't heavy duty, but for the money, it will work well for me. It is plenty strong enough for the 7100. Now, what next?

Any photos of Kubota back blades?

You are missing my point, Eric. I am interested in the Kubota blade. I have the same question posted on mytractorforum, because I would like to see a photo of one. The responses that I have gotten are that they are not the heaviest made blades, but not light duty, either. A $160 blade has to...

L3300 - difficult to get out of 4x4

Driving in 4WD causes driveline windup, and the appropriate method is to back up, reversing the tension on the driveline. All 4WD's work this way. You may have something damaged, but if you aren't reversing your direction a little, then it will be tight to get out of 4WD. Just the law of physics.
