    I bought the blower new, factory shear bolts, here is the failed bolt, it tried to break. Old and new out of package.

    When I said the shear bolt failed I meant it failed to do its job and shear. It did not shear and that is why I had the breakdown. I agree on Fluid Film, been using it for years.

    Just seeing this thread now. I would have been stubborn and just went with snowblower and back blade. Would have taken a long time but I would have stuck with it. I moved 30” of fresh snow with only my back blade earlier this year. 1/4 mile driveway and 3 houses. My blower had issues at the time.

    I run a Land Pride 58” on my LX3310, works great
