I found a couple of videos on youtube. One guy was heating/warming the pin and zerk with a torch...he was talking like the issue is not the zerk but that the grease in the joint is old and stiff...heating it up helped it to un-gel and allow the new grease to displace it. I didn't realize some of the pins could be under pressure and therefore not take grease. The back hoe is off the tractor so I wouldn't think there would be pressure but I could be wrong..But I think it's a great idea to try it again with the hoe reattached and move the boom into other positions.

I just read you want 5 pto HP per foot of rotary cutter...so 4' cutter approx 20 pto HP 5' cutter 25 pto HP..so maybe your right. I also read it can depend on the cutter itself...heavier duty cutter blades 1/2" thick or more (heavier blades) take more pto HP to move

Ok...I'm just starting to look locally for a landscape tractor...I found a B3000 and a B2601 for sale. Similar price. My application will really be landscaping around a house we are building... lot is only .75 acre. There is a stream and we will want to do some small retaining wall work...
