    LX2610 glow plug timing discrepancy.

They have the dash light indicator, but it will stay on for as long as you have the key in that position.

You can get a two-way splitter as long as you keep the total amperage draw below the circuit rating. Just don't go all Clark Griswold on it and you should be fine.

    Ballast for LX3310

I have the rear tires filled and ~725lbs. In the ballast box. That combo seems to work well for my LX2610. For hilly property, rear spacers are your friend when looking for additional stability. However, still try to go up and down the hills whenever possible.

I have the bolt on hooks clamp mounts with forward and rearward facing led pods. Ran the wiring through the ROPS and out the existing holes in the sides.

    Quick Hitch advice please

I saw recently that Good Works Tractors is now selling their own quick hitch that does not require adding bushings to all of your attachments like most do. https://www.goodworkstractors.com/product/quick-hitch-for-category-i-3-point-gwt-fast-cat-i/

    New Lx2610 rust

I wouldn't worry about it. That is just a bit of surface rust on cast parts, likely from sitting outside. If it bothers you, hit it with a wire brush then spray it with some Rustoleum primer.

Kubota LX4020 New Two Tone Model

What is the model number of the loader? I believe the new LX's have a new loader model which I assume would be the same color as the tractor.

    LX3310 Block Heater Installation

I'm not familiar with the engine on the LX3310, but on the LX2610, you only need to remove a threaded plug from the block and install the block heater in that location. You will want to have a bucket handy though, as you will definitely lose a bit of coolant. Also, after the installation, let...

    Flat face 3rd function issues

Another option is to use a couple short hoses with flat faced couplings on one end and male pioneer couplings on the other end. When you go to reattach your implement, just grab a rag to rap around the male pioneer ends and give them both a few taps with a hammer. That should relive the pressure...

    Temporary bucket mod for snow?

Here's a video showing what @North Idaho Wolfman mentions above.

What is "Rear Ballast"? And why do you need it?

I don't recommend it as a standard practice or when your load can be safely lowered to adjust the center of gravity downward, but it is definitely something to keep in mind in the event that you suddenly experience an oh $hit moment.

What is "Rear Ballast"? And why do you need it?

I agree with your assessment. However, if you start to feel the tractor tipping to one side or the other when the bucket is raised, throwing the loader into float mode may prevent the tractor from tipping. That having been said, the vast majority of pictures you see online where a compact...

    LX2610SU

I have the non-SU version as I wanted a mid-mount mower. It's quite a capable little tractor. I think you made a good choice opting for new vs. used with the current difference in pricing.

    That's some legit horsepower there.

    Recs on ballast

I agree with @Kennyd4110. When plowing snow, using my ballast box, instead of my box blade, makes working around buildings, vehicles, and other objects much easier. Yes it's a one trick pony, but nothing beats it for rear ballast when working in close quarters.

    BX2816 Augers not turning

Just make certain to get grade 5 bolts at the hardware store as suggested above. If you use bolts that are too strong, things much more expensive than the bolts will break instead.

    Is your home security wireless?

Agreed, I have a wireless security system, a dog that hates being disturbed at night and a number of additional discouragers if someone chooses to proceed further.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I've seen leaves and twigs in fuel tanks before, but that looks like someone cleaned off their workbench and dumped the dust pan into the fuel tank.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I saw that as well, but I assumed that the metal shavings were in the pan before he drained the fuel into it. The pump could have grenaded as well though, resulting in a bunch of plastic and metal debris in the fuel system. If that's the case, hopefully the filters prevented any of it from...

    Moving heavy wet snow

Looks like he may have a gravel driveway. If so, the gravel will stick to the wet snow and get jammed between the augers and the housing, resulting in busted shear pins.
