Got the new BX2380 home and have a question?

They won't be in the way. If you ever buy something like the kubota grass catcher, it comes with a second adjustable 3 point arm, and mounting brackets for the holes that someone else already pointed out. This allows you to more easily fix-mount implements to the back (like the grass catcher. )

    0% Financing on New Kubotas

Consider not paying it off early. For one, you already paid the loan origination fee. Second, the insurance you get when financing is TOTAL REPLACEMENT. Not value based. If anything happens, they fix or replace it, no matter how much, even if that means giving you a new tractor. Invest the...

    Snow Plow Options For BX1870

Agree 100% Jay. This is why I put the $$ in for a front-mount blower. No sore neck and I can put the snow anywhere. Most SSQA blowers are hydraulic and few tractors have the flow needed to run them. It will be interesting to see how your engine-powered project works out. Send Pics :)

    Snow Plow Options For BX1870

BX1880 here. I have a front mount snow blower. It attaches to the tractor frame via a proprietary kubota hitch, you have to remove the FEL. They also offer a snow blade/plow which attaches to the same hitch. Advantages of this are that (a) you are driving forward which is more natural and (b)...

Can I mount a front end loader?

If you buy the loader from kubota dealer you will also have to pay for (a) the hydraulic connects and (b) the mounting hardware. I think it also includes a brush guard as well.

Are Kubota “build it” on line prices current?

I bought same exact blower last year. Bought it at the same time I bought tractor, it was in june. Mine was 4300 all in, which for me was the front hitch and mid pto kit, hydraulic rotation, hydraulic deflection. The dealer didn't list costs individually, so I can't really tell how that...

    2019 BX2380 has arrived.

80 series bx can get leaks on the coupler base. Try wiping it off, then snug up the lines to the coupler. Don't overtighten, maybe like 1/4 turn and see what happens.

    mower deck height adjustment

The arms drop by gravity. Set the height to 0 and if they don't drop just pull down a bit or use your foot. Also make sure the dial which controls the "drop speed" isn't all the way closed. Finally, you don't have anything blocking the 3 point hitch arms, right?

    Bx2380 mid mount mower/3pt hitch

There is another option. I have the kubota grass catcher, which attaches via the 3 point. It comes with FIXED mounting brackets that attach to the tractor frame. You swap the linkages from the lift arms to these fixed mounting brackets instead, and problem will be solved. This is the best...

BX23S - Wiring question for adding ROPS lights

One other thing to consider: I wanted to be able to turn the lights on when the tractor was not running, for example so I could clear snow or ice debris at night when snow blowing. I ran wires from battery to the rops, and installed that way. No relay, just got a waterproof switch that was...

    3 point adjustment

I'm not sure how much different the arms on the B are versus the BX -- on mine I just pull the pins on one of the link arms (the adjustable one) where it connects the link to the 3 point lift arm. Once you do that, you can move it around however to get the arms on the implement. Then I lower the...

    FEL not level with BX2380

Hi Bill, same exact thing happens with mine. The right side touches first. It started doing that not too long after I got it, after I had some trouble taking the loader on/off. I am pretty sure that I tweaked something.

    Question about 3PH height

Yes. By default I think it comes with 1 adjustable. Because I got the grass catcher, they throw in another adjustable link. It comes in handy. Lower the arms to get as close as you can, then just use the turnbuckles on the link to line it up exactly. Helps when ground is uneven as well.

Why would you buy a small Deere over a Kubota?

I haven't used a flail mower but I looked at some pictures. Seems most have wheels or skids and would float as you suggest. However what about rotary mower aka brush hog? It has a tail wheel but still relies on the 3 point to set its cutting height. I don't think I'd enjoy brush hogging...

BX2680 mmm cutting height control dial

Make sure its absolutely ALL the way up. Just sitting there it will drop down just a small amount. It won't turn in this position.

Front snow blower on a new BX2380

List price might be probably near there if you add up the cost as individual parts. I bought mine at the time I bought the tractor. I paid approximately $4300. You should ask a Kubota dealer for a quote, from the SALES department not parts. They can sell the implements at a lower cost.

I agree with tiktok its very straightforward process. The hitch is obnoxiously heavy though.

Front snow blower on a new BX2380

The part referred to as subframe is really a hydraulic quick hitch. You have to remove the loader. This is the biggest drawback for most folks because they want to keep the loader on. The quick hitch attaches to the front of the tractor, and a long pto shaft connects from the quick hitch to...
