Methonol and water vs rim guard

Your F150's rims have a problem specific to only them, then. I've had aluminum rims on my vehicles for the past 30 years and none have leaked.

    What's this ? Old timers

Still use my Craftsman vernier calipers. They can take a lot more abuse than the dial ones.

    Chip DPF Delete Discussion

This is me. Unless I happen to see the regen light on in the dash I don't know it is happening. I've seen posts where people claim that the tractor sounds different and smells different during regen but I've never noticed either with my Kubota. If it weren't for the light coming on I wouldn't...

    Schizo weather

Love the photo...brings back memories of growing up in Pennsylvania. It was 50 degrees and sunny here yesterday. Snowing steadily this morning.

What does the sticker on your vehicle say about you or what people may think about you

No stickers on any of my vehicles. Last vehicle I bought new, an F150, as soon as I got it home I removed the "4x4", Ecoboost, and dealer stickers. Only thing "different" about my vehicles is that I have "Veteran" plates on all of them. Not only do I prefer the plain blue on white coloring...

    What Is This?

I have a pair of those hanging on the tool wall in my garage. Spark plug boot pullers...from back when vehicles had spark plug wires with boots, and not "coil on plug" ignitions....so I have no vehicles I could use with those today!

Who's Using a Trickle Charger / Battery Tender?

Every vehicle I own but one - motorcycle, ATV, UTV, tractors, trucks - all have a battery maintainer connected. Only one not connected is my F150 and that's because it is a daily driver. Been using them for years. Especially with the smaller batteries like in the motorcycle and ATV, my...

Getting ready to retire, what did you treat yourself with?

This is me, to a tee. Spent most of my life exploring the western states on a dirt bike whenever I had a few days off, and I'd curse the nasty weather when it coincided with my days off. And I always thought how wonderful it would be to be able to take off whenever the weather forecast was for...

Kubota MSRP Vs Dealer out the door price

Makes a difference on where you live. Only one Kubota dealer within 150 miles of me. I "built" my M7060HDC12 on line, then went to the dealer to get an actual quote, hoping to get a good discount since I would be paying cash. Nope! When the dealer worked up his quote the prices matched...

    Overlanding, outdoors, offroad anyone?

All the time. But...that's because there are very few paved roads in my part of the country. And very few people and very few vehicles on the secondary roads. I've been taking care of a cabin for many years that's located almost exactly 100 miles from my house. Most times I can drive to the...

Getting ready to retire, what did you treat yourself with?

Yup. I retired a few months after turning 70. Had a great job I enjoyed so wasn't sure I wanted to quit working. As it turns out, good thing I did retire because the company went through a bunch of changes shortly thereafter. I retired with a good pension - those retiring after I did lost out.
