    Thanks for all the tips and advice guys. I had assumed dialing 811 was enough but I see from your experiences I actually need to hire a locator. Now that we have a tractor her list of landscaping projects for me to do has grown exponentially all over the entire acre and a half yard.

    I noticed the cylinders got warm on the hoe, just kind of surprised me that the power beyond line got that hot by just mowing without the hoe on. It didn't burn me but the coupler was beyond warm.

    Pardon the newbie question but I just took delivery of a BX25D as my first tractor. After mowing grass (roughly 2 hours) I went to hook the backhoe back up and the power beyond fitting was hot enough I had to use gloves. Is it normal to run that hot? Transmission in high range, MMM, running...

    In anticipation of the delivery of my new BX25D, I put in to have the utilities marked today. Now I'll know exactly where I can "practice" without leaving the neighborhood in the dark.

    My job usually has some downtime in it. Figuring on taking the manual with me on a couple of trips to get familiar with it. I have a spot where I burn limbs and leaves etc. 25 cinder blocks around. I figure that's a great place for me to get my feet wet with the backhoe, and we need mulch anyway...
